About the Dentist
Dr. Cheryl Lee completed specialty training
in Pediatric Dentistry and a masters degree in Oral Biology at Baylor
College of Dentistry in Dallas, Texas in 1991. She later received
fellowship training in Dental Oncology at U. T. M. D. Anderson
Cancer Center in Houston, Texas, and in Hospital Dentistry at the
University of Washington in Seattle, Washington. Dr. Lee was a former
faculty member at the Department of Pediatric Dentistry at the University of
Washington. She was the first author of "Local Anesthesia in Pediatric
Dentistry", a book chapter in Electronic Atlas of Pediatric Dentistry textbook (1st edition) by the faculties of the University of Washington.
Dr. Lee currently holds an appointment at the Department of Pediatric
Dentistry of the University of Washington as an Affiliated Dental
Practitioner, and an assistant professorship at the Pediatric Dentistry
/ Department of Orofacial Sciences of University of California in
San Francisco. She is an active member of the American Academy of
Pediatric Dentistry, the American Dental Association, the California Dental
Association and the California Society of Pediatric Dentistry. In
her free time, Dr. Lee enjoys reading, painting and music.
